To “activate“ a recently created/reactivated UOW User Account follow the instructions provided below. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for an account to be created.

To “activate” your account you will need to confirm your identity by completing the information below. Items marked as * are mandatory and must be entered correctly to successfully activate your account. Please also ensure that you enter all relevant information depending on your status as a UOW student or staff/associate account holder.

Your account has been assigned a “username” and you need to enter this username along with the additional information requested to successfully activate the account. Once you have verified your identity you will be asked to setup your initial password. You can then use your username along with your current password when accessing mail, internet and other UOW services as granted.

To finalise the activation of your UOW account you will then be asked to setup your UOW Account Profile which provides us with the password recovery information we need to provide secure recovery options for your UOW Account. This information will only be used to contact you for password recovery.
